How To Set Valve Honda Motorcycles

Interested in trying to set the valve Honda motorcycles you own?
But remember, the wrong settings can affect the performance of your motorcycle.
Before starting, prepare the following equipment:

1. Screwdriver (-) large

2. Key T 17 (for motor Supra 125/Kharisma)
3. Key T 14 (for motor Supra Fit, Tiger)
4. Ring 8-9 (for the motor type duck)
5. Ring 10-11 (for the motor type Sport)
6. Ring 17 (for motor type Sport)
7. Ring 24 (for motor type of duck)
8. Fuller gauge 1set
9. Wrech Adjusting Valve (valve lock)




how:

1. Open the lid valve (In and Ex) using the key ring 17 (the type of duck) or a Key Ring 24 (Sport Type)

2. Initially position the valve-free so that the condition or position of the piston at Top Dead Point (TMA), by way of open magnetic closure on the left engine block using a screwdriver (-) large (there are 2 pieces), use the Key Ring 14/17 to rotate the crankshaft counter by clockwork.

3. While rotating the crankshaft, notice at the time of valve In moving, look at the small hole in a magnetic block, position the T mark on a straight line in a magnetic block the small hole.

4. Then hold and wiggle the valve to make sure both are in free position.

5. If the above steps are correct, then do with the size of the adjustment valve for each motor as follows;

* Type of Sport (Tiger, Mega Pro, GL Pro, Phantom) size = 0.10 mm (± 0.01 mm).
* Type Duck (Supra, Grand, Legend, Supra X, Win, GL 100) the size of the slit valve = 0.05 mm (± 0.01 mm).
* Type Duck (Supra X 125, Kharisma, Kirana) valve gap size = 0.03 mm (± 0.01 mm)
* Type Matik (Vario) the size of the slit valve (Valve In: 0.15 mm (± 0.01 mm) Valve Ex: 0.26 mm (± 0.01 mm))

Its tuning is, loosen the tappet adjuster nut fastener (bolt valve suits) using the Ring 8-9 / 10-11

6. Then Fuller put the gauge to size the valve gap into the tip of the valve stem, turn the tappet adjusters (suits valve bolt) until you feel fuller when the gauge on the pull feels sluggish and if driven can not.

7. Then harden again nuts valve suits and double-check the results of earlier suits valve, until the results are correct, (if fuller gauge was pulled drag and thrust can not)

8. Close the back of all the components that had been opened and then feel the results
